Rose and I met accidentally, when I was just up to open my front door after a long shooting day. It turned out she is my neighbour and a performance artist in the “Theatre of Varieties” around our corner in Soho. Travelling the stages between New York and London, she always found a few minutes to shoot with me right before, after or in between a show – no matter if it was 11pm or 4am.
